A cuter Scener alternative
Scener runs watch parties through a Chrome extension on laptops and desktops, and needs a Scener account. Waku works in any browser, phones included, with no email: open a Portal to watch movies, shows, YouTube or music together, synced, with room chat and reactions.
About Scener
Scener is a watch-party service with private rooms, up to 10 people on camera or mic, and bigger theaters. It needs a Scener account and its Chrome extension, works only on laptops and desktops, and most services need each guest's own subscription.

Where Scener is better
Scener syncs services like Netflix and Disney+ with your own subscriptions, and has video and voice in rooms. Movies and shows here play through a third-party player with ads.
