Work with me: co-work with strangers
Yes. Waku is a free web app where you can co-work with strangers in live work-with-me rooms. Make an anonymous profile in about a minute, with no email and no real photos, then join a Work with me Portal, share a timer or lofi, and check in with the room.
What it is
Remote work can be lonely and slow. A Work with me room is a virtual co-working desk: the same timer, the same music, and a few people quietly getting things done next to you.
Tips
- Post your goal for the session when you join.
- Mute the urge to scroll: the room is watching (kindly).
- Celebrate small wins in chat.
- Host your own at the hour you work best.
Keep it good
No selling or promoting, ever. It’s a desk, not a pitch meeting.
