Watch movies with strangers tonight
Yes. Waku is a free web app where you can watch movies and shows with strangers in sync. Make an anonymous profile in about a minute, with no email and no real photos, then join a Movies or Shows Portal, or open your own, and press play together.
What it is
Movie night is better with someone next to you, even if you met them five minutes ago. A Portal is a live room with one synced player, room chat and emoji reactions, so everyone gasps at the same twist.
Tips
- Pick a category and a country, or browse what’s live right now.
- Hosting? Name the room after the movie so the right people find it.
- React in chat, not spoilers.
- Clicked with someone? Tap their name and send a request.
Keep it good
Hosts choose who joins and can lock the controls. Report or block anyone who ruins the vibe; they won’t be told it was you.
